Talaria E-Motorcycles
Talaria is one of the best-known names in electric off-road motorcycles, and PedL carries the current range, from the XXX Pro through to the Sting line-up, including a road-legal Sting Pro MX5 L1E model for riders who want off-road performance they can also ride to the trailhead. Six of the seven current models are in stock now.
The Sting range covers most of the lineup, with the R-MX TL4000 and MX TL3000 built for serious off-road performance, and the Sting Pro MX5 TL5500 available in both off-road and road-legal configurations. The Komodo rounds out the range as a distinct model in its own right.
If you're deciding between an off-road-only build and a road-legal option you can ride to and from the trail, our team can talk you through the difference. Shop online with fast Australia-wide shipping, or visit our Sydney showroom to see the range and sit on a few models before you decide.
What's the difference between the Talaria Sting Pro MX5 TL5500 and the L1E road legal version?
Both are built on the same MX5 TL5500 platform. The L1E version is road-legal, which means it's built to a specification that allows it to be ridden on public roads, while the standard MX5 TL5500 is positioned for off-road use.
Is the Talaria XXX Pro suitable for beginners?
Talaria's off-road models, including the XXX Pro, are generally aimed at riders with some experience on dirt bikes or off-road motorcycles given their power output. If you're new to off-road riding, it's worth talking to our team about which model in the range suits your experience level.
Are Talaria electric motorcycles road legal in Australia?
Some models are, some aren't. The Sting Pro MX5 L1E is built as a road-legal option; other models in the range, including the standard Sting and XXX Pro builds, are designed for off-road use. Check the specific model's listing or ask our team before assuming a given bike is road legal in your state.
What's the difference between the Sting R-MX TL4000 and the Sting MX TL3000?
Both are off-road Sting models, with the TL4000 designation indicating a larger battery pack than the TL3000. A larger battery generally means more range and sustained power output.
