Lagads is built for the buyer who doesn't want to choose between a commuter and a trail bike, a 750W rear hub motor, 20x4" fat tyres, hydraulic disc brakes, and a front suspension fork that handle both. It comes in two configurations: the base pack with a 48V 15.6Ah battery for up to 60km of range on flat urban riding, and the Pro pack with a larger 18Ah battery, an NFC card, and a new front fork. 

Both are rated to carry up to 150kg and reach a top speed of 45km/h. If you're weighing base against Pro, the honest answer is that Lagads hasn't published exactly what extra range the Pro's upgrades deliver - we see it as more power in less time, so ask PedL for the specifics before deciding which is best for you.
